THE RECORDING STUDIO
Yes...it's true...New Market has it's very own recording studio! Many years ago this recording studio was built and was called Harmony Recording Studio. They were known for pumping out old timey gospel songs in the 80's and 90's. It sat empty for many years...like a time capsule, with all of the musical instruments and tape machines collecting dust. When we purchased it, we kept most all of the original equipment and character that it had, but we renovated it all to be more modern. We turned the front office space into an apartment so we could host music loving guests from all over. We run it much like a duplex with an apartment in the front and the recording studio in the back. Our very own Whitney Dean records and produces in the studio. You can follow his band The Sweeplings and hear some of the songs that have come out of this old building.
We've hosted both short term and long term guests here. It's great for interns or contract workers looking for a fully furnished corporate housing rental where they can escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life in Huntsville.
